The
Centre’s requirements of mechanical fabrication for prototypes and
pilot runs are met by the Model Shop. The shop is equipped for precision
turning, engineering and painting (both drying and stoving) and is staffed
by expert fitters. Model Shop has been recently augmented with Hydraulically
operated Press Brake of 65T capacity for bending 4mm thick 2m long steel,
Powder coating Machine with Dipole recovery booth having a capacity of 4’x4’x4'
size, Oil-cooled welding machine and Notching machine. |
